Who I am |
I am one of the current High School Social Studies Teachers at Royal Live Oaks Academy Charter School based in Hardeeville, South Carolina. In U.S. Government and Economics, students will be learning about American Government and its influence on Economics. In U.S. History, students will be learning about American history from 1492 to the present. In Psychology, students will be learning about the scientific study of the mind and behavior. In a high school psychology course, students are introduced to the scientific method and the core ideas and theories of psychology. As a result, students gain an understanding of the complexities and diversity of human thought and behavior.
All classes will be taught with different forms of Instruction from quizzes/tests to major projects. I must stress as a teacher the importance of Project Based Learning that helps accelerate the growth of historical knowledge for students. As the mission statement says at Royal Live Oaks Academy, ¨No one deserves to fail. Every child should taste of success.¨ I will be helping all students to the best of my ability to achieve this goal. |
Our History |
We as teachers at Royal Live Oaks Academy are working together to establish a cohesive community in which all students can work together and succeed not only in the classroom but also in life. It is those life goals that students need to have in order to get a college education and/or establish a career.
